Boost your career with £50 off AMA registration

Offer runs until 31 March
The Museums Association (MA) is currently offering £50 off registration for its flagship professional development award, the Associateship of the Museums Association (AMA).

The AMA is a structured programme to help museum professionals achieve their career aspirations by developing their job skills and core competences with the support of a mentor.

It takes between two and three years to achieve the award and registration is open to anyone who works in or for museums on a full-time, part-time or voluntary basis.

From spring this year a number of phased improvements will be introduced to the programme to make it more streamlined, flexible and straightforward for participants.

The MA’s professional development officer Tamsin Russell said: “The AMA offers a really flexible approach to continuing professional development that is neither curriculum-bound nor fixed in terms of pace of completion, enabling people to focus on what they want to develop when they want to develop.

“During 2017 you will see a large number of small changes that will create a positive change larger than the sum of its parts.”

The £50 discount runs until 31 March.
