The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust has appointed Louisa Davies as its first head of creative programme.  Davies was previously events manager at the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Jo Pasricha, a business development consultant, has been appointed as the chairman of trustees of the Weald & Downland Living Museum in West Sussex.

Frank Hargrave begins his new role this month as museums, arts and culture manager for Colchester and Ipswich Museums. He leaves  his post as director of Norton Priory in Cheshire and replaces Bill Seaman.

The BBC journalist Kavita Puri has become a trustee of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.

The chief executive officer of Hampshire Cultural Trust,  Janet Owen, will step down at the end of October. The chief operating officer, Paul Sapwell, will take over from her in November.

Simon Gosling has been appointed to the board of the Geffrye Museum of the Home in London as a trustee. Gosling is a thought leader who was behind the creation of a house in east London that aimed to provide a glimpse of a future-tech home.

Katie Henderson has been appointed as the curator for the Greater Manchester Police Museum. She was previously the museum officer for the police force.

The SS Great Britain Trust, Bristol, has appointed Jim McKenna as its new chair, replacing Colin Green. McKenna is the chairman of Catch22, which works to improve the life chances of young people.
