Museums Journal Courses Supplement

Published annually in the spring, this supplement specifically focuses on courses for the sector and pathways into the profession. It features editorial content on topics including: different kinds of courses, how to choose the right course, and how to get on the course; profiles of people taking a course; funding available for courses; the importance of placements; volunteering in museums and next steps after completing your course.

We offer free listings to course providers that offer longer, undergraduate and postgraduate courses that have a definite association with a career in museums, galleries and heritage sites. Short-term courses, conferences etc are not included, although there is an opportunity to take a display advert in the supplement if you wish to promote this kind of short-term course and details of these course can be included on the Find an event section.
